Plumbing Apprentice

Piping Systems Installations LLC is a mechanical contractor serving Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We do HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, refrigeration, industrial process piping, and fabrication. We're looking for motivated people who want to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career with us.

The Role

As a Plumbing Apprentice, you'll work alongside licensed journeypersons and foremen on commercial and industrial job sites, learning the trade hands-on while you complete your apprenticeship hours and classroom training.

What You'll Do

• Assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining piping, fixtures, and plumbing systems.
• Cut, thread, join, and support pipe in a variety of materials.
• Read and follow blueprints, isometrics, and job specifications as you develop your skills.
• Load, unload, and stage materials, tools, and equipment.
• Keep your work area clean and safe.
• Follow all PSI safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Complete required apprenticeship training and log your work hours.

What We're Looking For

• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Reliable, punctual, and a good teammate.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces and outdoors in all weather.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment screening [adjust to match your policy].
• Previous construction or trade experience is helpful but not required.
