Salary: $106,100 - 176,800 per year Requirements:
- We look for hands-on software development experience with modern languages or platforms such as Java, Python, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, or PHP.
- We require experience designing, building, or using REST APIs and service-to-service integrations.
- We need experience with SQL, relational databases, integration patterns, and modular or microservices-based architecture.
- We expect knowledge of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile delivery, DevOps practices, and collaborative version-control workflows.
- We value experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, build and deployment automation, release management, and application monitoring.
- We seek strong analytical, debugging, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving abilities.
- We want a demonstrated willingness and aptitude to learn RPGLE, CLLE, and the IBM i (AS400) legacy environment.
- We prefer exposure to IBM i (AS400), RPGLE, CLLE, ILE concepts, or legacy application modernization.
- We prefer experience with Kafka or other message-based and event-driven systems.
- We prefer experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- We prefer experience building microservices, distributed applications, or cloud-native solutions.
- We prefer experience integrating modern digital applications with enterprise or legacy platforms.
- We prefer knowledge of Warehouse Management and Order-to-Cash processes.
- We prefer experience in distribution, logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, or healthcare distribution environments.
- We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
- We typically look for 4+ years of relevant professional software development experience, including exposure to enterprise-scale systems.
- We require experience working in Agile delivery environments and applying disciplined software development practices.
Responsibilities: - We research, design, develop, test, debug, implement, and manage solutions for Warehouse Management Systems that support our Distribution Centers.
- We participate in implementation, development, enhancement, and modification of source code and scripts while staying current on technologies, methods, and industry best practices.
- We analyze requirements, create and automate tests, and verify that system and software solutions meet business and technical needs.
- We monitor application performance, identify defects, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- We integrate solutions across applications and platforms while ensuring interoperability, reliability, and alignment with design principles.
- We work with vendors and internal partners to resolve functionality or interoperability issues affecting new and existing applications.
- We use DevOps and Agile practices to deliver functionality efficiently while continuing to iterate and improve.
- We own development work from technical planning through deployment and take part in technical design reviews and code reviews.
- We apply automation, CI/CD practices, version control, testing, and disciplined release management to improve quality and delivery reliability.
- We share best practices, provide technical guidance, and mentor or teach other team members as appropriate.
- We contribute to technical roadmaps and strategic planning for technologies used across our Distribution Centers.
- We create and maintain clear technical documentation, development standards, and operational support materials.
